MapQuest GPS Navigation & Maps App Reviews

It has been a very efficient app for me so far, however I do understand peoples complaint about its user friendliness. Thank you so far

So far after doing 2 or 3 updates after getting the new mapquest, the app still doesnt recognize Canadian addresses. Poor testing on their part.

Nice to see it back for us Canadians. Works very well, no problems so far and the design is way better than the old one. Addicted

Ive always enjoyed this app. Still love it. Use it always. Just missing when in the directions list, the current turn info is not enhanced, and the capability to see the current direction in landscape mode. Also, it used to allow the list to only show current turns and the unnecessary info would disappear from the screen. As I use this in the car, I really miss these features and hope to see a come back. Thanks

Sat views in my area are at least 5 yrs old, not much use if in a rural area.

Good mapping but wrong places. A hardware store with the wrong name, oil change place with the wrong city listed, camping areas very incomplete . You get what you pay for.

Love the app...would love it even more if I could set it to kilometers....

Sorry! This new update is always taking me in traffic not out of it. The previous one was 100% correct. Im so sad and disappointed. With this update if the directions say "take 401 express" I take the "local". Kindly return the previous one; if something is working perfectly theres no need to change it. Thank you

Finally there is a map app that will give you verbal turn by turn directions to multiple destinations! Awesome!

Used this app to help get me directions from point A to B. Everything ran very smoothly, however when I arrived at point B it was nowhere near where I needed to be. Was late by 30 minutes thanks to this app. Not the first time its happened either.

Totally useless, we can not print directions from either our iPhone or iPad

Mapquest is such a great website I assumed the app would be just what I needed. It isnt. All I want to do is create a route with several stops to determine what I can do in a specific amount of time. I want to do this almost anywhere in the world. The app doesnt give you the times between places and it is so awkward to view on an iPad its just not worth it. Useless to me.

I tried navigation with this app; I turned the switches on to avoid tolls and highway and it still routed me through a toll. I restarted my iPhone and gave it another shot. Nothing changed! This is by far one of the less quality GPS apps Ive used. The PC web version isnt too bad, however, the app version is one to stay away from.

Easy to use and friendly apps, no adds at all

Frustrating that when you start typing an address it looks in completely different countries. Why can it look for addresses closer to me first!?

I use this app in Canada quite a lot. It is working fine and give you directions in the cities.
